In 1999 Scott Mitchem began contributing to Wallpaper* magazine — his favorite publication then and now. Over the years, he has done everything from producing fashion and other photo shoots, to writing features, to leading major initiatives like the Born in Brazil issue, an ambitious, award-winning concept executed by the staff entirely in-country over the course of three weeks.

Mr. Mitchem continues to write about design, architecture, lifestyle, and travel across the Americas — with a particular focus on Brazil — for the magazine and its website.
